What is a bridal event? What is a trunk show? We get this question a lot! Events at Marry and Tux Bridal are the ultimate experience for the bride who is looking to say YES to the dress. On the day(s) of the event there will be additional dresses flown in from the featured designer for brides to select from for a limited time only. Brides can schedule an appointment for this event to see these wedding dresses that are not normally in-stock at Marry and Tux Bridal.
What do I need to know about these events? Events (or often referred to as trunk shows) are booked months in advance, so appointments are usually in high-demand. We suggest making your appointment as soon as possible so that you don't miss your opportunity to see these dresses. Trunk show dresses (or event dresses) can often times be "show exclusives" and may not be available for order after the show ends.
Are these dresses that we buy and take home, is a trunk show a sale? The answer is no, and no! These are brand new designed-owned exclusive dresses that we have flown in for the event. The concept is that you try on the designer's dress, and if it's "the dress!" you place a special order for it. Once the event is over, the gowns are sent back to the designer.
