Summer may be winding down, but we're still daydreaming of sunny days and waterfront weddings! Danversport is a pretty popular wedding venue that we hear quite often, and with it's convenient North Shore location it's no wonder we have so many of our brides getting married there! The venue offers waterfront views, scenic gardens and the opportunity for an outdoor ceremony. Plus the venue is one of the few in the area that can accommodate weddings of up to 650 guests. Whether your style is crystal chandeliers, modern elegance, or intimate and lovely, Danversport has a location that will suit your preference.
Today I'm sharing photos of our bride Jessica, who was married on a beautiful summer evening in one of our favorite Martin Thornburg for Mon Cheri wedding gowns, and her husband John wore a classic gray tuxedo. The Bridesmaids are in a stunning shade of coral, and the photos captured by Adriano Batti (www.Adrianobatti.com) are just spectacular (check out that sky!). Enjoy! Is your wedding Spring or Summer 2018? Then the time to start looking for your bridesmaids dresses is now! Bridesmaids take on average about 3-5 months to arrive once you order them, so it's not such a bad idea to get the ball rolling and try to figure out what you want your bridesmaids to be wearing. I've outlined quick easy timeline for when you should start bridesmaid shopping!
7 Months from your wedding date: Begin looking on Pinterest and talking with your Fiance' about the color scheme you'd like to work with. Look at other wedding parties, and see how all of the colors you have in mind work as a group. Together narrow down your choice for bridesmaids color(s), and give some thought to the color that the men will be wearing (if you're having groomsmen). 6 Months before your wedding date: Make an appointment with your Maid of Honor, or as many girls you can get together and begin trying on dresses. Narrow down what company makes the color shade you like best, and figure out if you want all of your girls wearing the same dress, or the same color but choosing their own style that suits them the best. If your girls find the perfect dress at this appointment, wonderful! Each girl will choose a size, a dress, and put a 60% deposit down on it. Any bridesmaid who would like to pay in full is welcome to do so, but the balance isn't due until the dress arrives. 5 Months before your wedding date: Any bridesmaid that couldn't make the previous appointment, consider this their deadline. If the gowns only take 3 months to come in once you've ordered them, you'll be calm, cool, and collected down the road that they're here early enough to allow for tailoring. If they take 4 months to come in, that's okay - you still have time for tailoring! We can't stress enough how important timing is for you to feel a sense of relief leading up to your wedding day. It can often feel like it's too early to order the dresses but you'd be surprised how long it will take your girls to agree on a dress, (or choose one should you give them free reign) and put down a deposit on said dress. The earlier you start the bridesmaid shopping process the better off you'll be. Our bridesmaids department gets to be a fun, and lively place to shop on a Saturday so we highly recommend an appointment if you plan on coming in the next few weeks! We can't wait to meet you and your bridesmaids! If you've never heard of the Boston Exchange as a wedding venue, then you may find yourself on their website sooner than later after seeing these photos! It's always so refreshing to see a unique beautiful wedding venue in Boston that's a bit off-the-beaten-path. Located in Boston's Seaport District, the Boston Exchange markets itself as "Boston's best kept secret" - after seeing these photos we can certainly see why!
Featuring panoramic views of the Boston Harbor, high ceilings and beautiful architecture, the Exchange certainly provides some amazing opportunities for spectacular photo ops. Lauren walked down the aisle in a beautiful strapless lace wedding gown by Maggie Sottero, and Kevin looked crisp and classic in his gray tuxedo. These photos were graciously shared by Kendall Pavan Photography (KendallPavanPhotography.com) - Enjoy!! |
