Andover Country Club is a venue we hear quite often from our brides, due to it's prime location, and wonderful amenities. The venue showcases beautiful gardens, with a backdrop of their championship golf course. The indoor reception space at the Andover Country Club is finished with marble top bars, beautiful fireplaces, and grand pianos. When brides come to us looking for their wedding dress to wear at the Andover Country Club, we often hear that they want to look elegant, sophisticated, and classic. It's no surprise that this venue is one that we love seeing photos from, and the Andover Country Club is a must-see if you haven't yet chosen your wedding venue. Today we're highlighting Heather and Tim who were married this past September. Heather is wearing a beautiful wedding gown by Allure Bridals, with a cathedral veil and she couldn't have looked more stunning. The photos were graciously shared by Benoit & McCarthy Photography, (benoit-mccarthy.com) - we hope you enjoy them!
PS! If you were thinking about wearing a cathedral length veil... we hope that these photos convince you to go for it! Choosing the perfect neckline is often the hardest challenge when working with a bride, because let's face it, not every neckline is flattering on every bride. Did you know that choosing the right neckline can give the illusion that you are taller, slimmer, smaller chested or even larger chested? Sign me up, right? Well let's go through a few necklines and find out what's going to work for you! Sweetheart Neckline Often good for brides who feel as though their top is not quite as full as they'd like it to be. The open neckline opens up the torso and elongates the neck, in return making a bride feel taller. A sweetheart neckline is usually defined by a heart shaped top, though they can be more modest, or more revealing depending on the cut. Looking for a more traditional sweetheart, try Arlyn by Maggie Sottero. Feeling a bit more sexy and daring? Give Marianne by Maggie Sottero a try, we have both! Halter / High Neck Often good for a bride that wants a bit more modesty, a high neck wedding gown is both hard to find, and unique. Brides who feel a bit more broad in the shoulders, feel that this cut brings them in a bit more and makes them appear more narrow. Halter wedding dresses have for the most part gone by the wayside, as most wedding dress manufacturers have moved into creating high neck wedding dresses rather than halter top wedding dresses. Looking to try one? Check out Allure Bridals style C280, or Essense of Australia style D2174, we have both! V Neck The name says it all, characterized by a classic V front and V back, this style is great for anyone medium - to - full - busted. Fuller busted girls can often wear a bra under this style and it can sometimes minimize, whereas smaller busted girls often feel as though they can't fill them out properly. However as the saying goes, you won't know how it fits unless you try! Check out Stella York style 5922 and Allure Bridals style 9124! Off the Shoulder Perfect for the bride who wants to showcase her collarbones, or for the bride who wants to cover a bit of her upper arm, this style looks great on most shapes and sizes. Beware, when this style is tailored properly you may not have the easiest time moving your arms! Looking to try one? Check out David Tutera Aura, or Maggie Sottero Riviera! We have both! Portrait Neckline Similar to the off-the-shoulder style, this neckline is often characterized by a soft scoop extending from one shoulder to the other. This style is also often referred to as being very "Jackie O", as her classic wedding gown featured this neckline. Allure Bridals style 9155 is a vintage inspired gown that features a classic portrait neckline, come try it! Bateau Neckline
Sometimes referred to as an illusion neckline wedding dress, this cut is great for the bride who wants a little more coverage, but doesn't love the cut of a high neck gown. A bateau neckline follows the collarbone directly across the chest often in a straight line, to create coverage in either a more modest, or sexy sheer way. This can be great for the fuller busted girl, or someone smaller who just wants the coverage! Check out Maggie Sottero Deidre, and Mori Lee style 2702, we have them both! The leaves are falling, the days are getting shorter, and winter is just around the corner. The downside to this time of year is, well, all of those things.... But the upside is - it's wedding season!!! We are loving seeing all the photos roll in from our brides, and hit the blogs of their photographers. We often feel as though we've gone through a journey with our brides, and seeing the end result is the best feeling!
We're going to feature one of our brides, Kathleen who traveled to us from Charlestown MA to find her perfect wedding gown. Kathleen was a blast to work with, and said "yes!" to the dress on what I think was gown #3. Guess it's true, when you know, you know! In that very same appointment Kathleen headed upstairs to the bridesmaids department, and said yes to stunning navy sequin bridesmaids dresses. I was dying to see this wedding party all put together, and when I saw the photos I was ecstatic! Kathleen and Paul were married this September and celebrated at the Oceanview of Nahant. Nestled on what feels like a private island oasis of all things beautiful and lovely, the Oceanview provides spectacular ocean views, and one heck of a backdrop for your wedding photography. The photos were graciously shared by ShutterEyes Photography, based out of Boston (www.shuttereyesphotography.com). Congratulations Kathleen and Paul, you all looked amazing! You may or may not have noticed on our homepage that we have the honor of showcasing the collections by David Tutera & Sophia Tolli before any other store in the country! For those of you who are unsure what an event like this means, I'm going to break it down for you! What is this event? This event is to showcase the newest collections that are from both designers, that won't hit stores until mid 2017. This means if your wedding date falls anywhere between now and October of 2017, then these dresses would never have been an option for you to try on, or walk down the aisle in! Can I buy these gowns off-the-rack? No. The gowns that are here belong to the designer, and they're the same gowns that you see photographed on the website! Every gown that is part of this event belongs to Mon Cheri, we just have the awesome perk of having them in the store for the month of November! Our lucky brides get to try on these brand new wedding dresses and order their own in their size & color!! After the month of November is up, they go back to Mon Cheri's headquarters. What happens if I like a gown, but my wedding isn't until 2018? As the saying goes, when it's right; it's right! We have lots of brides who have already purchased for 2018, and if you find your perfect David Tutera or Sophia Tolli wedding gown during this event, don't be afraid to say yes! Shows are the most fun times for our brides to shop, and the consultants love it too! We love seeing our brides try on the newest wedding dresses, and the possibility of walking down the aisle in something that nobody else can have is pretty cool if you ask us! Can't I try the gown on again at a later time? While we carry both of these designers, there's no guarantee that we purchased (for the store) the dress that you fall in love with during this show. In other words, this is likely your only chance to buy it should you fall in love. Often times it's fate when a bride falls in love with one of the trunk show dresses because when they're gone.... they're gone! We can't wait to meet you when you come in, and hopefully you have the opportunity to try on these amazing wedding dresses while they're here! Until then, here's a few sneak previews! david tutera wedding dresses, david tutera dresses, david tutera wedding dresses nh, david tutera dresses Ma, david tutera wedding dresses NH, david tutera wedding dresses MA, david tutera dresses near me, sophia tolli wedding dresses, sophia tolli wedding dresses MA, sophia tolli wedding dresses NH, david tutera dresses 2017, david tutera 2017 collection, sophia tolli 2017 collection, sophia tolli wedding dresses 2017, david tutera dress, sophia tolli nh, sophia tolli ma, sophia tolli ct, sophia tolli ri, david tutera ct, david tutera ri, david tutera vt, david tutera ME, sophia tolli VT, sophia tolli ME, sophia tolli wedding dresses VT, sophia tolli wedding dresses MA, sophia tolli wedding dresses CT, sophia tolli dresses boston, david tutera dresses boston, david tutera wedding dresses CT.
Something about these wedding photos makes my heart warm. Maybe it's because Amanda was such a wonderful bride to work with, maybe it's the stunning photos by Lena Mirosola Photography, but every bit of this wedding is sure to make you smile. Everyone in the store could literally feel her exitement when we got these photos. I mean, how cute is Amanda in her "getting ready" flannel top that says "Bride"!? We also couldn't help but spot our crystal bride pin on the pocket of her flannel top while she was getting ready - love, love, love!
If you haven't heard of Harrington Farm, then I can almost guarantee that you'll be looking it up after you see these wedding photos. Located in Princeton Massachusetts, it's property showcases a renovated post and beam barn built in 1763, a warm cozy fireplace, and a built in bar for your guests to indulge in the adult beverage of their choice. Amanda walked down the aisle in a wedding dress by Maggie Sottero named "Melanie", and her husband Steve looked equally as great in his gray tuxedo. Congratulations to Amanda & Steve, and a big thank you to Lena Mirisola Photography! (lenamirisolaphoto.com). We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did! |
