You may or may not have noticed on our homepage that we have the honor of showcasing the collections by David Tutera & Sophia Tolli before any other store in the country! For those of you who are unsure what an event like this means, I'm going to break it down for you! What is this event? This event is to showcase the newest collections that are from both designers, that won't hit stores until mid 2017. This means if your wedding date falls anywhere between now and October of 2017, then these dresses would never have been an option for you to try on, or walk down the aisle in! Can I buy these gowns off-the-rack? No. The gowns that are here belong to the designer, and they're the same gowns that you see photographed on the website! Every gown that is part of this event belongs to Mon Cheri, we just have the awesome perk of having them in the store for the month of November! Our lucky brides get to try on these brand new wedding dresses and order their own in their size & color!! After the month of November is up, they go back to Mon Cheri's headquarters. What happens if I like a gown, but my wedding isn't until 2018? As the saying goes, when it's right; it's right! We have lots of brides who have already purchased for 2018, and if you find your perfect David Tutera or Sophia Tolli wedding gown during this event, don't be afraid to say yes! Shows are the most fun times for our brides to shop, and the consultants love it too! We love seeing our brides try on the newest wedding dresses, and the possibility of walking down the aisle in something that nobody else can have is pretty cool if you ask us! Can't I try the gown on again at a later time? While we carry both of these designers, there's no guarantee that we purchased (for the store) the dress that you fall in love with during this show. In other words, this is likely your only chance to buy it should you fall in love. Often times it's fate when a bride falls in love with one of the trunk show dresses because when they're gone.... they're gone! We can't wait to meet you when you come in, and hopefully you have the opportunity to try on these amazing wedding dresses while they're here! Until then, here's a few sneak previews! david tutera wedding dresses, david tutera dresses, david tutera wedding dresses nh, david tutera dresses Ma, david tutera wedding dresses NH, david tutera wedding dresses MA, david tutera dresses near me, sophia tolli wedding dresses, sophia tolli wedding dresses MA, sophia tolli wedding dresses NH, david tutera dresses 2017, david tutera 2017 collection, sophia tolli 2017 collection, sophia tolli wedding dresses 2017, david tutera dress, sophia tolli nh, sophia tolli ma, sophia tolli ct, sophia tolli ri, david tutera ct, david tutera ri, david tutera vt, david tutera ME, sophia tolli VT, sophia tolli ME, sophia tolli wedding dresses VT, sophia tolli wedding dresses MA, sophia tolli wedding dresses CT, sophia tolli dresses boston, david tutera dresses boston, david tutera wedding dresses CT.
We get this question so often, that I figured I would post a blog about what a trunk show is, how it works, and the perks to attending one!
Trunk shows or wedding dress events are events that we run every month to showcase a new designer, or to show you a designer's newest collection. When a wedding dress designer creates a new collection they make (1) of each gown to send down the runways of NYC, Dallas, Chicago, and LA, for buyers to.... well, buy. Once they're finished with the runway shows and website photoshoots, these very same gowns become "trunk show gowns". During a trunk show we request these gowns from the manufacturer and have them flown into our store for our customers to try/see/touch/feel/love. The very cool thing about attending one of these events is seeing these new wedding gowns before anyone else. As a store we've seen these gowns in person, and we've placed our orders for many of them, but we won't receive our gowns for up to 8 months from the date we ordered them (we have to wait for our wedding dresses just like bride's do!). To sum it up, coming to a trunk show or a bridal event allows you to see these newest gowns months and months before they hit stores, giving you the advantage of potentially walking down the aisle in a wedding dress before many other brides even have the chance to try on the very same dress. No, these dresses aren't for sale off-the-rack, as they belong exclusively to the designer. And no, these aren't old past season dresses coming in dusty trunks for you to pick through and take home at a discount. We simply want you to be able to try on the absolute most amount of dresses in one location, and if you love a particular designer, then come during their show! We'll likely have an entire special events room set up for you to walk through and view their collections. We invite you to swoon over the delicate beadwork, touch the soft laces, and your dream of trying on a particular style wedding dress may just come true. This month we have the honor of hosting Mori Lee Wedding Dresses by Madeline Gardner. Her gowns are quite beautiful, and really embrace the New England bride's style, and the price points are killer. Seriously, your guests will think you spent more; but don't worry, we won't tell.
